Evidently, each year the Pioneer Lions Club of Longview, Washington decorates “its” island on Lake Sacajawea. The results were pretty stunning, the other night, when I first saw them, so I took advantage of some clear weather and photographed the island, walking all around it from 5 to 6 pm.
The nearly motionless water made a near-perfect mirror for the island lights.
And then there was my street. I live on 23rd Ave, which is apparently one of those streets where years ago everyone agreed to decorate for Christmas. The following photographs were taken Christmas Eve 2013.
